Rachel Rehrer

Algebra 2 and Geometry

We welcome Rachel Rehrer to our Legacy team.  She is a homeschool Mom of two high schoolers.  She has been homeschooling for nine years and has found it to be one of the best decisions she has ever made.  She and her husband, Todd, are heavily involved with the youth at their church and volunteer in the youth group, lead a Jr. High Lifegroup, and are on the leadership team for their traveling youth concert choir.

She believes her relationship with her Savior, Jesus Christ, has encouraged and developed in her a passion to engage with and make a positive impact on young people, specifically teenagers.

She has a Degree in Mathematics and experience in teaching Math at the Jr. High level through Junior College.  She is very enthusiastic about teaching Math and encourages her students to relax and have fun with the puzzles of Math rather than be stressed or intimidated by the subject.

Economics

Onboard this year at Legacy is CJay Engel who has a BA in Public Policy from William Jessup University. CJay has spent his years since college writing and teaching on topics related to economic and political theory and history—especially related to money and banking theory in small class settings. When not reading and writing on these interests, he owns and operates a tech/consulting business with his brother and spends time with his wife and 3 children.
